The scottish folk poem by Robert Burns Auld Lang Syne is costumarily sung at the Hogomanay or New Year’s Eve at the stroke of midnight. Litterally meaning a long time ago, its supposed to signify the close of the year, and in true Hogomanay style we look forward to the New Year withDolce&Gabbana’s new colletion.

The “spezzato” tuxedo is increasingly more a done thing in fashionable circles. For New Year’s Eve 2012 take a leaf out of the fashion set’s book and pair classic tuxedo trousers with duchesse silk blazers in a different colour, midnight blue or tobacco brown are both lovely options.
Sometimes classic is best. For super formal occasions, a classic Dolce&Gabbana tuxedo will make the difference between a good and a bad year! Make your entrance in society with a highly polished tuxedo with satin lapels, and for that extra oomph, a matching waistcoat.
Choose a tuxedo worthy of the most glamorous red carpet event for this New Year. A lurex thread in the fabric gives the blazer a pretty sparkle, and will make you shine brighter than any firework in the sky!
